I've seen it many times since and find the acting by Berenger, Daniels, Elliott, Lang, and Jordan especially good. The movie is quite faithful to the novel 'The Killer Angels' by Shaara so that is why Chamberlain is a main character and people like Vincent, Weed, O'Rourke, and Hazlett don't get the credit they deserve for saving Little Round Top in the film. And why only certain segments of the battle are depicted.<BR/><BR/>Berenger also made a wonderful Theodore Roosevelt in 'The Rough Riders' that came out in 1997 on TNT.
